The Blueprint Series presents detailed manuals for works by iii artists. Each booklet is an instruction manual with which you can recreate a different piece of performative sound art or interactive sound installation.
Similar to a musical score, The Blueprint Series intends to preserve performative and staged works of sound art, as the works themselves are in danger of disappearing with the creator. This gives the pieces a firm anchor point in history and opens them up to be studied and copied, setting the ideas free to be further developed by a broader community of artists now and in the future.
